News and Annoucements
07/01/2009: As some of you may be aware, Dr. Blizzard just returned from his study tour in Israel and Jordan. Our passage this week mentions one of the sites that the group visited while on the tour. You may not be familiar with the site, Antipatris, but this obscure little village holds significant meaning in authenticating the historicity of the Biblical text. To find out more about this historical site and read Dr. Blizzard’s comments, just scroll down the page and click on the most recent Passage in Translation.

Our newest featured article – Moses in Egypt – by Dr. Roy Blizzard, covers some of the most difficult material to study in the entire Bible, Exodus 1-15.
Today, one can travel to the Cairo Museum and look into the face of the Pharaoh that Moses had to deal with to get the Israelites out of Egypt – but which Pharaoh was that? We can narrow it down to one of three Pharaohs. To learn more about Moses and the Exodus, we encourage you to read this very helpful and informative article. Just click on the featured article in the upper right corner of this page.

Questions? Check out our Questions Answered section or our Article archive! We receive many questions from readers and Dr. Blizzard takes considerable effort to respond to each one. We have posted many of those questions and answers on our Web site, so if you have a question, we hope you will check it out – just click on the Questions Answers or the Article Library section on the left side of this page.

Still can’t find your answers? We encourage members to email Dr. Blizzard (questions@biblescholars.org) with any questions you may have about Biblical passages. We select from your submissions for posting on this site.
