I just noticed we aren't allowed to copy an article. I would like to do so with my membership. Is that OK? Linda - posted: December 02 2005

Dr. Bllizzard You taught in a class that the root meaning of Judah is to bend and bow the knee. Did you write an article to back this up. If so I need a copy of the article. - posted: October 12 2005

I was wondering if you could tell me anything about the Greek Orthodox have they fallen in to many of the same non scriptural traps as other sects of Christianity? Thank you in advance for any answers that you may be able to give me.

Dear Dr. Blizzard;
I am taking a course at local Christian college on Biblical languages, and we are using a book from the Mickelsens entitled Understanding Scripture. On page 19 of the book, they refer to Matt. 9:16-17 and state that, "..the gospel of the new life in Christ, is the "new wine" that must not be poured in the old wineskins of Judaism, paganism, and secularism." In the next paragraph the continues and state, "but the new order that Christ came to bring often runs counter to the pattern of today's world and of ancient Judaism, and may seem almost incomprehensible to us."

As a Messianic Jew, I find these remarks anti-Semitic, and I do not feel that this is the correct exegetical interpretation of the verses. Can I get a better interpretation from you so that I can counter them to my instructor? Thank you. Joe - posted: October 05 2005
