Question:
I saw on discovery channel that most of the new testament was added to the bible after the book of revelations. If so, then does that mean that the new testament is false doctrine? according to Rev. 22:18-19
William
Answer:
Well, William, that just goes to show you that you can’t believe everything you see or hear on television. The fact is that the earliest record in written form was the Gospel of Matthew, written in Hebrew and probably completed 6-8 years after the death of Jesus. I know of no portions of the New Testament that were added after the book of Revelations was written. Whoever said that knows very little about the transmission of the New Testament.
Best wishes,
Roy B. Blizzard, Jr.
