I have known Roy Blizzard or Doc for over 40 years, during most of that time I have been a student, but all students must graduate or get flunked out. During those years of learning most have been done home alone. But with the vast amount of resource information provided by him, that time has been spent well. I attended all of his Pastor Teachers Leaders conferences, some more than once. I traveled to Israel with him and others discovering our historical roots there. Over the years many things have changed for us, but we have never forsaken or forgotten each other in our life’s crisis. And that, in my estimation, defines who a man is.
Therefore, I wish Doc well in his newest pursuit to get published on Amazon his vast amount of works to help the many millions who are struggling with the Money Hungry Gospel that has been defined and preached today all over the world.

Roy Blizzard’s originality, in part, was the result of trial and error in his courses of study that became his ‘historical experimental method’. His profound understanding and response to popular attitudes and behavior that was made evident in his travels and teachings was deeply rooted in Judaic and Christian history of discrimination against women, racial and class injustice, and were at the core for popular rebelliousness. More so than most contemporary pastors, teachers and leaders, Blizzard traveled, spoke and listened to Jews and Christians popular classes on questions of everyday life.
His ‘method’ has been to translate micro based knowledge into community based macro-programmed changes with tender kindness, loving care and mercy at the core. In practice, he has been an anti-thesis of the Christian high ranking over lording right and local intellectual know-it-alls who literally have spoken down to the people and who has seen themselves as the ‘masters of the world’.
He has stood opposed to the micro-world of left academia, engrafted into high ranking Christian circles who have had needless conferences and entertained each other with self-centered monologues where facts have not been a part of the agenda.
